This years Potfest competition, ‘Time and Reflection’

‘Time and Reflection’ is this years competition title at Potfest in the Pens so I decided to make a series of ‘Letters in Lockdown’ reflecting on the messages sent to loved ones during the time of lockdown, creating ‘happy post’ ✉️ You can find them in situ in the hall alongside other amazing pieces where you are even able to vote for your favourite. Last day tomorrow 10am - 5pm, Skirsgill Auction Mart, Penrith, Cumbria.

Enjoying the first day at Potfest in the Pens 🤍 come along and visit us to see some fantastic pieces of ceramics and meet the artists. Open all weekend, 10am - 5pm at Skirsgill Auction Mart, Penrith. You can find me on stand 16. Looking forward to catching some of you over the weekend x

Packing for Potfest

Packing up the last few pieces ready to take with me to Potfest, with some new tea light additions in the mix 🤍 I will be having a little online shop update shortly after the Pens with my new pieces too. Have a good Wednesday!

Finishing touches

A finishing touches day to complete some pieces including these little houses now sitting on their wooden stands. I have also made some greeting cards and threaded up some decorations which I will be taking to the Pens with me later on this week 🌸

Making the most of this glorious weather and working outside today enjoying the blooms 🌺 many boards of mixed decorations being smoothed and slowly filling the kiln ready for their first firing. Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine, long may it last ☀️

N e w 🤍 pretty plaques safely out of the kiln and ready to take with me to Potfest in the pens. I’m quite pleased with how these have turned out so will definitely be added on to my list to make some more. A very happy sunny Saturday 🌸

Potfest in the Pens 2021

Potfest is back 🌼 With only a couple of weeks to go, I have been busy making for this lovely Summer event. You can find me along with lots of other exhibitors from the 30th & 31st of July & 1st of August at Skirsgill Auction Mart in Penrith, Cumbria. Held undercover so a great place to visit come rain or shine. Potfest is always a good opportunity to meet the artists and purchase direct to pick up those unique handmade pieces. Plaques

Popped the kiln on this morning with some of these lovelies inside. I have been enjoying creating different ones with various textures and patterns so fingers crossed they come out in one piece 🌸 Happy Friday 🤍
