Spring is in the air...

With a few April showers, the sun has been definitely trying to shine, the daffodils are blooming and it feels like Spring is finally here. I have put a little selection together from floral designs and seasonal pieces to bunnies, each being perfect for this time of year and are all available in my online shop.

 

Beautiful porcelain bunting. Eight flags each have a heart and rose design and are attached to cream ribbon with looped ends to hang. Perfect for hanging above a dresser or window. I can also make bunting to meet your requirements if you have somewhere specific in mind for it to hang.

Easter Treats

With Easter Sunday on the 31st March, I have been making lots of these egg hangings perfect for your Easter tree. They are handcrafted from porcelain and various designs available including vintage lace imprinted into the surface to screen printed birds. To view all of the designs available take a look in Seasonal decorations.

Little porcelain eggs look lovely placed in a wooden crate or dish. Each one is decorated in various coloured glazes in pretty tones.

 

These gorgeous feathered nests are fragments of materials and feathers which i have hand dyed and gently stitched together. Complete with porcelain mini eggs which i have dipped in coloured sugary toned glaze, almost good enough to eat!

 

 

I have also created these lovelies. Little nests where i have hand dyed wool yarn which is then knitted, complete with stitched on feathers, porcelain buttons and a mini egg. Each one perfect for Spring.

Selvedge Spring Fair

I have just returned from a few days in London having a stand at the Selvedge Spring Fair. The fair didn't start until the Friday morning but i had a lovely couple of days beforehand going around London visiting the sights and even a spot of shopping.

The fair was held in the beautiful Chelsea Old Town Hall, on the Kings Road in Chelsea. I had a lovely time displaying my ceramics and meeting visitors and exhibitors who had such a beautiful mix of textiles and ceramics. Here are a few pictures i took of my stand.

 

 

Selvedge Spring Fair... Just over a week to go!

With just over a week to go until the Selvedge Spring Fair, i am busy with preparations for the event. My Kiln has been packed full firing goodies such as Easter hanging decorations, buttons, bird houses and much more! I have also been doing a spot of knitting and stitching creating little lovely nests which i will also have on display.

The fair is held in the Chelsea Old Town Hall, Kings Road, Chelsea, London, from...

Friday 22nd March,11am - 5pm, with an evening reception 6pm - 9pm.
Saturday 23rd March 10am - 4pm.

Tickets £5 in advance or £7.50 on the door.
